Extended Opportunity Programs & Services (EOPS)
|
Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) is a state-funded program that targets community college students with financial and academic disadvantages and provides extra financial and academic support to promote student success in higher education.
The primary function of EOPS is to recruit, retain, and transition economically and educationally challenged students. Apply for EOPS by printing out the EOPS Application Form and the BOG_Application, fill them out and return to the EOPS Office or the Financial Aid Office.
Student Success Skills Assessment
EOPS counselors will assess EOPS student readiness for academic success. Assessments will be used to make appropriate referrals to resources.

An EOPS student must meet with an EOPS counselor three times during each semester.
An updated Educational Plan must be on file with EOPS.
