(Good Ideas for Teaching Students)
*Inspired by Pasadena City College

|
GIFTS are activities or tasks from Columbia College staff offered for the purpose of embedding skill development into situations across the campus. Each GIFT describes an activity and names the pedagogical strategies or techniques embedded in the task.
GIFTS not only come from faculty for use in the classroom but also are presented by staff who work with students in many settings, such as the Business Office, Financial Aid, a Counselor’s office or the Nurse’s office. While the activities may be described in the context of a particular discipline or work setting, all good ideas for teaching can be adapted to other settings.
Take what works for you and use it. If you’d like to give a gift, follow these simple instructions here. (Web page opens up in a new browser window.) |
